SMALL OFFICE DECOR IDEAS

This small office can accommodate up to 13 employees, with a reception area, work area, meeting room and management area. How can we design and plan the different areas of the space in the best way? Come and see our ideas for furniture layout and space allocation in this limited office space.

Staff: 9-13 persons




Space: Space design starts by preserving the original space of the building, leaving exposed ceiling systems for both air conditioning and electrical systems. Then, the space is divided into areas for guests and working areas, with emphasis on the guest areas using PDM mat. The management and meeting rooms use black tones to separate them from the first area and are separated by frosted tempered glass to create a sense of partition. The use of floating partition cabinets between rooms also makes the room look open and balanced without the need for furniture built-ins.

  • Concept: The design concept is to create a space that is easy and comfortable on the eyes, yet not boring. Therefore, a blend of different styles is used to design a loft space that can accommodate a variety of furniture styles, such as modern sofas and plastic chairs, a modern conference table, and a Scandinavian-style PDM rug. The space also emphasizes on creating a prominent guest area by using an L-shaped red sofa in a minimalist style, and making the work area stand out by using industrial-style lighting fixtures.
